DeVon Franklin’s One-Man Performance “Be True” To Debut On Audible (TV News Roundup)

Audible will release DeVon Franklin‘s one-man theatrical event “Be True: My Journey from Breakdown to Breakthrough” on Jan. 29, 2026.

DeVon Franklin is an author, producer and motivational speaker best known for his work on faith-based films “Heaven Is For Real” and “Miracles From Heaven.” He has also developed shows for television and has written various self-help books where he offers guidance rooted in his personal experiences, relationships and sense of spirituality.

“Be True” is an autobiographical stage play, where Franklin chronicles his personal story of redemption, from divorce to remarriage and from doubt to success. It marks the first time that he has opened up about his public break-up with his wife and the growth that followed. The performance was delivered and recorded live at Audible’s Minetta Lane Theatre in New York City earlier this month.

“Be True” will release as an Audible Original, adding to the streaming platform’s diverse library of podcasts, audiobooks and other audio-based entertainment.

First Looks/Trailers

Sonic Gods Studios has dropped a trailer for its new four-part docuseries, “No Hands: For The Love Of Racing,” which will premiere on Prime Video on July 31.

“No Hands” follows Torsten Gross, a quadriplegic race car driver who aims to compete at the highest levels of GT motorsports. Founder of the Just Hands Foundation, Gross sets out to prove that motorsports are one area of athletic competition where all people are equally equipped to succeed.

The docuseries promises a plunge into Gross’ personal story, from becoming wheel-chair bound at fifteen years old after a neck fracture to dedicating himself to the world of motorsports. It also promises intense visuals, with close-up footage of race car events on the track and inside the cars. Ultimately, though, it promises an uplifting and inspirational story about defying the odds and achieving dreams.

Sonic Gods Studios CEO Chris Hayman sums it up by saying, “This isn’t just about racing. It’s about rewriting assumptions about who belongs on a racetrack, and what’s possible when access meets ambition.”
