Every ‘And Just Like That’ Season 3 Couple, Ranked
The ladies of New York City — and their closest pals — are back in the dating scene for Season 3 of And Just Like That…. Season 4 might not be in the books for this modern Sex and the City interpretation, but that’s not stopping the crew from chasing love in all corners of the metropolis. They may be older, but they’re also wiser when it comes to romance… sometimes. Of course, wisdom doesn’t always prevent questionable choices, and this season serves up its fair share of risky flings, unexpected reunions, and “are you sure about that?” moments. Without further ado, here is every And Just Like That… Season 3 couple, ranked.
7
Carrie Bradshaw and Aidan Shaw
Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Aidan Shaw (John Corbett) have a long history predating And Just Like That…. Apart from her time with Mr. Big (Chris Noth), Carrie and Aidan were infamous for their constant push-and-pull during the Sex and the City days. Eventually, they called it quits when Aidan wanted commitment, but Carrie had second thoughts about marriage. When they reunited in Season 2 of And Just Like That…, it looked like they had learned from their past mistakes. But Season 3 shows that Aidan is still carrying some unresolved baggage.
Season 3 proves that Carrie and Aidan aren’t meant to be, not because of bad timing, but because they carry themselves differently. While Carrie has learned from her mistakes and is willing to accommodate Aidan, he is still clinging to his trust issues. Only this time, his baggage also includes complications with his ex-wife and strained relationships with his youngest son. Carrie embraces the future, but Aidan is stuck in the past.

Lisa Todd Wexley and Herbert Wexley
The Wexleys are the quintessential successful Black couple of the Upper East Side. On paper, Lisa Todd Wexley (Nicole Ari Parker) and Herbert Wexley (Chris Jackson) are at the top of their game: she’s the creative powerhouse, and he’s an ambitious hedge fund banker turned aspiring politician. With three equally bright children, they’re educated, cultured, and privileged.
By Season 3, however, their careers begin to chip away at the romance they’ve built in their penthouse life. Facing obstacles with her PBS documentary, Lisa throws herself deeper into her work. Meanwhile, Herbert becomes increasingly self-conscious about his public image. While they’ve created a stable, well-provided household, the spark between them dims a little more each episode under the weight of their professional demands. To make matters worse, the unnecessary work crush Lisa has on her new editor isn’t the most positive thing for her marriage.
5
Miranda Hobbes and Joy
Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) and Joy first crossed paths briefly through Miranda’s work in Season 2 of And Just Like That…, but their connection gained momentum in Season 3. Fresh from her breakup with Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez), Miranda found herself back in the dating scene, though she was convinced she was far too “ancient” for the vibrant pool. That changed when she met BBC producer Joy (Dolly Wells) in her office, sparking the possibility of something new.
Their start wasn’t exactly smooth. Hoping to impress Joy, Miranda agreed to go on air, only to famously mispronounce “wild country,” turning her into a viral punchline. While Miranda feared the slip would ruin any chance with Joy, it had the opposite effect. Despite differences (most notably Joy’s fondness for drinking and Miranda’s commitment to sobriety), they had their difficult conversations with open-mindedness and honesty. The only drawback is that Joy remains one of the show’s more underwritten characters, leaving audiences with little insight beyond her preference for dogs over children.

Anthony Marentino and Giuseppe
In true And Just Like That… fashion, every New York friend group needs a de facto gay confidante — and for Charlotte (and the rest of the girls), that’s Anthony Marentino (Mario Cantone). Once her trusty event planner-slash-stylist in the Sex and the City days, Anthony has since traded tulle and table settings for artisanal sourdough, running a bakery staffed with devilishly handsome, bicep-flaunting employees. He’s still as sharp-tongued and blunt as ever, though he insists it’s all “for the greater good” of the girls.
In Season 3, Anthony continues his romance with sentimental Italian poet Giuseppe (Sebastiano Pigazzi). Much of their storyline centers on their age gap and contrasting lifestyles. Anthony is pragmatic and no-nonsense; Giuseppe is dreamy and artistic. Their relationship faces scrutiny from Giuseppe’s mother, who — ironically — fears her son will be taken advantage of. Still, Giuseppe keeps Anthony grounded when his blunt advice veers into too-much territory. And Anthony proves he’s willing to fight for their love… even if it means defending their relationship to her face over dinner.
3
Seema Patel and Adam Karma
Seema Patel (Sarita Choudhury) and Adam Karma (Logan Marshall-Green) couldn’t be more different. Seema is the head B in charge, always in control of her career and love life, the latter usually filled with meaningless flings and sensational sex. But when her boss steps down, she’s abruptly sidelined and forced to start over by launching her own real estate agency. Besides Carrie, her Vogue-approved landscaper, Adam Karma, is one of the few who witness her journey from having everything to losing it all to rebuilding something new.
Adam is neither a snazzy restaurateur nor a famous movie star like Seema’s past exes. He’s counterculture at best, using crystals instead of deodorant and tending to plants as a passion. When they first meet, Seema puts up her usual high wall, but Adam isn’t intimidated. In fact, he’s smitten with her confidence, creating a space where she can be vulnerable without losing her edge. Their relationship is playful, with Seema still owning her boss energy and Adam not only unfazed but actively encouraging it.
2
Carrie Bradshaw and Duncan Reeves
It’s the American versus the Brit. When Carrie moved into her Gramercy townhouse, she didn’t just get a new home — she also gained a new neighbor in the basement unit. A celebrated biographer, Duncan Reeves (Jonathan Cake) didn’t exactly hit it off with her at first. Carrie’s habit of wearing heels at home kept him awake during the day, when he preferred to sleep. Things improved after Carrie rescued him from a kitchen fire caused by an unattended stew on his stove. From there, the two became unlikely writing partners, offering each other encouragement and serving as trusted peer reviewers.
Eventually, Duncan’s writing stint in New York came to an end — as did their brief companionship, which included a one-night stand. While an endgame wasn’t in the cards for Carrie and Duncan, their connection stood out as one of the most fulfilling and growth-oriented relationships in Season 3. It proved that not every meaningful bond has to end in marriage or long-term commitment. Sometimes, people like Duncan appear out of nowhere to teach a lesson. For Carrie, this was especially true in her writing career and her ability to believe in herself more. It felt fitting that Duncan left before she finished her book’s epilogue, because, in the end, that was something she needed to complete on her own.
1
Charlotte York Goldenblatt and Harry Goldenblatt
No other couple feels more like family than the Goldenblatts, and there’s a reason why their relationship seems so authentic. Back in their Sex and the City days, Harry (Evan Handler) was the last person Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) ever imagined dating. After all, he was just her sloppy, blunt, and bald divorce lawyer — hardly the sophisticated Park Avenue type she had envisioned. Yet, the fact that Charlotte grew to like, love, and eventually marry Harry despite their differences is proof of how genuine her love is.
In And Just Like That…, the Goldenblatts remain one of the show’s most stable couples. Season 3 puts their marriage to the test when Harry is diagnosed with cancer. Charlotte, entirely of her own initiative, devotes herself to his care. But as she struggles to keep his illness a secret from their friends, Harry notices the strain it places on her. The last thing he wants is to see his wife suffering on his behalf, especially knowing her tendency to overthink. The Goldenblatts might be richer than the average And Just Like That… audience, but the cancer storyline is a realistic portrayal of marriage anyone can relate to — arguably an honest embodiment of “in sickness and in health.”
