Katie Holmes Styles Knee-high Boots Under Jeans for Veronica Beard’s Icons Party in New York

Katie Holmes stepped out for Veronica Beard’s Icons Party on Tuesday, outfitted in a look by the brand, down to the knee-high boots. Held at Corner Bistro during New York Fashion Week, Holmes was in attendance at the event wearing the Lisa Suede Tall Boot.

For the party, which welcomed other celebrity guests like Natasha Lyonne, Nicole Ari Parker, and Boris Kodjoe, among others, Holmes arrived wearing one of her cool New York girl ensembles, tying in the suede fall 2025 shoe trend.
Holmes opted for the Veronica Beard Taylor wide-leg jean, which are blue high-rise Japanese non-stretch denim jeans. The wide-leg silhouette features denim panels down each leg and is finished with a raw hem. A pair of the brand’s Lisa Suede Tall boots in suede peeked through the bottom of the jeans.

The black kitten-heel boot is crafted from premium black suede and features a knee-high shaft and a sleek, pointed toe. The boot, which retails for $750, is a pull-on style and features a small 1.75” heel. Veronica Beard also offers the Lisa Kitten-Heel in an ankle boot design.
While the boot shaft wasn’t visible as part of Holmes’ look since she wore them under jeans, the ankle boot model features ribbed detailing on the side, allowing for pull-on ease that the knee-high boot doesn’t have.
She paired the jeans with a black turtleneck and the brand’s cropped Latrell embroidered jacket in navy blue. The jacket retails for $948. The Latrell lady jacket is defined by its clean, collarless silhouette and a cropped, structured fit. It features intricate embroidery along the back and sleeves, with looped braided trim, covered buttons, and welt pockets.
Holmes is known for her effortless style, which often reflects in her footwear choices as well. A fan of ballerina flats, loafers and simple, sleek heels, the actress stays loyal to the less-is-more approach when it comes to shoes, and sets trends in the process.
