Video appears to show mistakenly released hotel asylum seeker in Chelmsford

A video shared online appears to show the mistakenly released hotel asylum seeker walking along Chelmsford high street.

Police launched a manhunt after Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu, who sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl, was mistakenly released from prison.

The Ethiopian national arrived in the UK on a small boat and was jailed for 12 months over the attack in Epping, Essex, last month.
