TotalEnergies sues Charge+ over sale of EV charging assets

Defendant says it refused to proceed with the deal because BlueSG – which accounted for over 95% of the claimant’s revenue – was alleged to not be a going concern

[SINGAPORE] TotalEnergies Charging Services Singapore has sued fellow electric vehicle (EV) charging operator Charge+ over their asset purchase agreement, seeking damages to be assessed.

Charge+ denied having repudiated the deal and is also counterclaiming from TotalEnergies costs and opportunity cost in pursuing this venture.

The lawsuit had a case conference on Wednesday (Dec 24).
