For the cover of the June 15, 2026, issue, the artist Barry Blitt turned his attention to Donald Trump’s latest spectacle. To mark his eightieth birthday—and the nation’s two-hundred-and-fiftieth anniversary—the President is staging a U.F.C. fight on the White House lawn. “There’s been plenty of astonishment regarding the clash being held there,” Blitt said. “But, at such a contentious time as this, maybe it makes sense—in a distasteful, repellent, disgraceful, atrocious way.”
