A Charleston-Inspired Wedding Filled with Southern Charm and Timeless Tennessee Elegance

Pale blue, cream, white

This Charleston-inspired wedding, set in the bride’s Tennessee bridal home, blends Southern elegance with timeless style. A soft palette of dusty blue, ivory, and white evokes historic charm, while gold accents, classic florals, and vintage touches create a warm, romantic feel. It’s effortlessly refined—bringing the grace of Charleston to a cozy, Tennessee setting.

For Malone and Conner, Rose Comb has always held a special place in their hearts—it’s where they had their first date and quickly became one of their favorite spots. So when Conner was ready to propose, he knew there was no better place.

He planned a casual evening out, keeping things low-key to not raise suspicion. As they settled in, surrounded by the familiar atmosphere and shared memories, Conner got down on one knee and asked Malone to marry him. Uncomplicated and genuine—the moment matched their relationship perfectly.

Afterward, Conner had arranged a surprise celebration at his family’s home, where their loved ones were waiting to toast their engagement. The night was full of laughter, hugs, and a few happy tears—a meaningful start to this next chapter of their lives.

Malone wore a stunning Carriage House gown adorned with delicate floral accents, perfectly echoing the springtime theme.

Malone’s bridesmaids wore soft blue Lula Kate dresses, adding a gentle, elegant touch to the wedding’s color palette.

The groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos, perfectly complementing the wedding’s timeless and elegant style.

R Table Catering expertly handled the cuisine throughout the entire day, beginning with a thoughtfully prepared breakfast spread to start the morning. The spread featured an array of homemade pastries—flaky croissants, fruit-filled danishes, and buttery scones—served alongside seasonal fresh fruit, yogurt parfaits, and artisan coffee. It was the perfect light and welcoming start to the day. During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed a variety of passed appetizers—perfectly crafted bites that paired beautifully with the drinks and mingling. For the main meal, R Table served a generous and flavorful Mediterranean spread centered around tender, seasoned chicken and a savory beef option, both complemented by vibrant sides including roasted vegetables and a refreshing orzo salad. The fresh ingredients and bold flavors highlighted the best of the region’s cuisine, leaving guests satisfied and impressed.

Ramblewood Events created the stunning floral design for the wedding, blending lush hydrangeas and classic roses to craft a soft, romantic palette of greens and whites. Their arrangements featured a mix of full, textured blooms and delicate greenery, adding depth and elegance throughout the ceremony and reception spaces. From sweeping centerpieces to graceful bouquets, the florals perfectly enhanced the wedding’s refined yet natural atmosphere.

R Table crafted a stunning full Italian cake for Malone and Conner’s celebration. What made the moment truly special was when the bride and groom took center stage to dust and decorate the cake themselves in front of their guests. This interactive tradition added a personal and joyful touch to the reception, creating a memorable experience filled with laughter and love as they put the finishing touches on their sweet centerpiece.

Somersault Strings provided beautiful live music throughout the ceremony, playing as guests arrived and as Malone made her graceful walk down the aisle.

The bride and her sister both celebrated their weddings at their family’s traditional white home overlooking the lake—a place filled with memories. For Malone, the front porch holds a special place in her heart; it’s her favorite spot in the house, where she’s spent countless quiet moments over the years. From that very porch, she watched as the tent and floral arrangements were delivered and her reception space slowly came together on the lawn below—a full-circle moment unfolding in the most meaningful setting.

Malone’s family dog was a special part of the day—and added a bit of unexpected fun when he managed to escape, sending the wedding planners, Abby and Grace, on a lively chase around the neighbor’s yard!

At night, guests gathered by the lake to release floating lanterns into the water, creating a magical glow over the water. The moment was made even more unforgettable with a stunning fireworks display lighting up the night.
