A Chic Garden Wedding With a Tropical Twist at Hemingway Home

Orange, hot pink, Light Pink, Pink, yellow, peach, green
We wanted to design a chic garden wedding with a tropical twist with vibrant pinks, tangerines, and all the fruits in between
Vanessa called me in June 2023, she was planning her wedding in April 2024 and needed a wedding planner. She was just like every other client, not sure where to start, but Vanessa also had a newborn baby and a full-time career. Vanessa had one BIG request for her intimate wedding, she asked me to please make it look “like a styled photo shoot” (by the way, this is every wedding planner’s DREAM CLIENT!!!) We spent a lot of time thinking about design and colors. We didn’t want the traditional wedding palette, we wanted a chic fun tropical vibe. She chose bold colors and tropical colorful flowers. The result had us smitten.

The menu focused on local FL keys seafood featuring local lobster, grouper and beef tenderloin. The signature drink was the bride’s favorite drink, Aperol Spritz.
The colors and flower choices were bold tropical and bright. Even the linens pushed boundaries by taking a bright risk which made the design impeccable.
