A Classic Beachside Wedding With Tropical Hawaiian Flair at Andaz Maui

Color theme was neutral, white, subtle pink, and blush.

The wedding vision was classic, Beachside, Hawaii-influenced, with pops of tropical vibes.

Hannah and Dmitriy share a mutual love of traveling and romantic getaways, so in their nature the both of them flew into Napa to celebrate Hannah’s 30th birthday. Under the guise of the birthday weekend, Dmitriy organized the proposal at Stanley Ranch the day after Hannah’s birthday.

After trying on “dress after dress,” the bride knew she had found the one when she saw this beautiful gown. It is the Lilibet Strapless Wedding Gown from Wtoo by Watters. That same day, she also came across the most perfect, simple after-party dress – the Reed Sleeveless Back-Bow Mini Dress by Sachin & Babi. For the veil, the bride always knew she wanted this exact veil by Lihi Hod – and she found it at NWLA Bridal in Santa Monica. That same day, she spotted the Dalgownnn, also by Lihi Hod, for the welcome dinner. The shoes were Amina Muaddi heels on the wedding day and Badgley Mischka platforms for the welcome dinner and after party.

We had appetizers, sit-down dinner, dessert, and after-party foods!

Bella Bloom Maui was on hand for florals. The couple wanted a whimsical and airy vibe with mostly neutral colors.

The couple had Astro and Jackson (their dogs) made into little figurines to be featured on the cake, which was made of three layers: carrot cake with white chocolate mousse frosting, red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, and vanilla cake with mascarpone and berries. They had the Bride’s mom’s wedding cake topper on the side too, making it very special and sentimental.

The couple spent a lot of time with the Rabbi going over the blessings for the ceremony, which was very important to them.

Hawaiian elements were woven throughout, like a lei exchange with all of the family, and surfboards and anthurium were used in a unique seating chart.

Hannah’s best friend is her little brother, and Dmitriy was one of her friends! The ceremony was streamed for their grandparents, who are nearing the end of their lives and back home in LA, and were unable to travel.

After the reception, they moved to the after-party, which was held in a banquet hall at the Andaz. It had all of Hannah’s favorite comfort food, like fried mac and cheese balls, ice cream sandwiches, and more.
