The evening began with a cocktail hour, highlighting the couple’s tastes. The groom selected a signature Old Fashioned, and the bride opted for a refreshing Hugo Spritz! Catered by PEJ Events, passed hors d’oeuvres blended Southern richness with elevated flair, from brisket barbacoa tostadas to bourbon fig crostini. Dinner was equally delicious. Guests were treated to a choice of wagyu sirloin topped with bright chimichurri or a tender chicken breast finished with lemon caper beurre blanc. Garlic mashed potatoes and green bean amandine rounded out the plate.

The floral design embraced a refined palette of pink, white, and soft blues, layering roses, hydrangeas, peonies, ranunculus, and tulips throughout the venue to evoke a sense of classic Southern charm. The reception unfolded beneath a grand tent featuring a custom dance floor by Mike’s Dance Floor Rentals, a personalized installation that anchored the space and elevated the overall design. The bride carried a bouquet of white peonies, while her bridesmaids held small bouquets of white tulips for a modern, sculptural complement. A striking floral arch framed the ceremony, beautifully adding to the architecture of Woodbine Mansion.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]Created by Sweet Life by Sonia, the showstopping four-tiered white cake cascaded with delicate white sugar flowers, serving as both a stunning focal point and a sweet finale to the evening. Guests were delighted with a selection of flavors to suit every palate, from strawberry cake with strawberry filling and classic carrot cake with cream cheese frosting to almond cake layered with strawberry filling and rich chocolate cake complemented by raspberry filling.[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]One of the bride’s favorite details was the custom cocktail stirrers, a small touch that was extra sweet. Guests could choose between the couple’s monogram or an illustration of the bride and groom’s beloved pup![/field]

In one of the evening’s most heartfelt moments, the bride’s grandfather surprised both the couple and their guests with a vocal toast. Performing a beloved song from more than sixty years ago, rewritten with custom lyrics for the occasion!
