[field title=”Proposal Story”]
“On 7th June 2023 (exactly four years after we met), Rich surprised me with the most magical proposal in Carcassonne, a story-book walled city in France that I’d dreamed of visiting since childhood. After a castle tour that he’d planned down to the last detail, we returned to our hotel, where our terrace overlooked the ramparts and towers. This set the scene for Rich to ask me to marry him, with a ring he’d designed entirely by himself, making it even more personal and unforgettable. “

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]
For the wedding day and ceremony itself, a delicate Italian floral lace ballgown from Zuhair Murad with an off-the-shoulder neckline and long, sheer lace sleeves. The matching veil was cathedral-length, reaching beyond the train of the gown and trimmed with matching lace to mirror the embroidery of the gown. After the ceremony, the veil was removed and an oversized tulle bow was added at the waist, cascading down the back. For her evening look, Stephanie chose a strapless mini-dress from Elie Saab, embroidered with sparkling beads and sequins, sculpted in soft ruching that echoed flower petals.

The wedding cake inspiration came from a feeling of countryside elegance meets soft romance, featuring three tiers of pale blue fondant, which were decorated with handcrafted sugar flowers and petals throughout the tiers. For their cake flavours, Steph and Rich chose Zesty Lemon and Elderflower with fresh lemon curd and a fruity elderflower buttercream, spiced ginger with a fresh ginger cream, cheese frosting and salted ginger caramel, and an Indulgent Chocolate Orange with smooth Belgian milk chocolate ganache and fresh orange curd.

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]”for our first dance we wanted an upbeat lively song and chose Wilson Pickett’s Land of 1000 Dances, played by an incredible ten-piece band.
