A Guest-Centered Garden Celebration on the Grounds of Glenstone Gardens

The couple envisioned an intimate, relaxed garden party with their closest friends and family with whimsical but elevated vibes. They wanted to prioritize focusing on giving their guests a wonderful experience while highlighting the beautiful grounds of Glenstone Gardens.

The bride wore a customized Eisen Stein dress, which fit her vision and personality so perfectly. It was equal parts whimsical and sophisticated, with a sheer overlay, intricate bodice with lace appliqués, and flirtatious ruffles down the skirt. The dress was complemented with a lovely, elbow-length veil that added an element of softness anda vintage feel.

Her bridesmaids wore mismatched, solid, and patterned garden-party-inspired dresses that brought a lightness and additional floral element to the wedding day. The variety of colors, designs, and patterns came together beautifully.

Bold and bright colored florals made for spectacular statement pieces to brighten their sailcloth tent on this rainy spring day in Virginia. With two large hanging installations, full of structure, movement, and texture, on either side of the dance floor, and pops of color via candles and florals in the tablescapes, the design was completely bespoke. Watercolor menus and table numbers carried through the wildflower and garden theme, and the names of the tables were meaningful places in the couple’s relationship. The colorful vibes were also continued with colored, pastel fluted glassware.

The couple opted out of having a wedding cake in favor of a dessert table, filled with small-bite options for the guests to munch on while they danced.

The couple chose to emphasize their partnership in their ceremony, fusing Jewish and Western traditions with their own ideas. Instead of the bride walking down the aisle to meet her groom, they had each set of their parents walk them to meet at the start of the aisle. The parents exchanged hugs, and then the couple joyfully walked down the aisle together. They also circled each other and broke the glass together at the end of the ceremony. Instead of traditional flower girls, the couple had “flower grandparents,” who tossed petals to start the ceremony.

The bride held a mono-floral bouquet of six white tulips, one tulip to represent each bridesmaid and their importance in her life. This not only created understated romance, but it was also a sweet tribute to her wedding party.

The duo wrote each guest a personal note on their escort card. With custom-designed floral prints on the escort display wall, these cards guided guests to their seats and served as a touching element.

The bride is an incredible dancer and wanted to add a fun surprise to the reception, so she picked a hot pink textured mini dress and platform, hot pink Versace heels as her second look. She wowed the crowd as she made her way back to the dance floor and danced the night away with her new husband, dance troupe, and family and friends!
