A Moody Mountain Romance in Shades of Pink and Berry at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain

Cody and Ashley tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony surrounded by breathtaking mountain views surrounding Scottsdale, Arizona.

Cody and Ashley had envisioned their future for some time when he popped the question. Despite having discussed an engagement, he was still able to surprise her when he got down on one knee at a winery! When planning their wedding, they decided to host a destination celebration in Arizona as a nod to their first trip together to Sedona. Opting for a modern romance vibe, they chose a moody color palette of rich reds, pinks, and black to complement the earthy tones of the native flora and desert landscapes.

Cody sported a custom black suit for the wedding day.

After dinner, dances, and cake, a second dance floor opened up inside with a lavish dessert spread, a buffet of late-night munchies (a la pizza, fries, and chicken tenders), and a surprise martini bar to keep the party going well into the night!

Bold red flowers were paired with soft peach and blush flowers for the ceremony arch, effortlessly matching Ashley’s berry-hued bouquet. Adjacent to the ceremony site, the reception space sprawled across a verdant lawn with tall privacy hedges. The head table drew all eyes with a black industrial arbor stretching overhead, dressed with red, blush, peach, and white flowers. Matching blooms lined the table, which was topped by a floral-print linen that ramped up the color saturation beautifully. Place settings featured personalized menus, dusty rose velvet napkins, black plates, black flatware, and charcoal-tinted glassware for a dramatic touch.

The couple’s simple wedding cake featured a swag of red, white, and burgundy flowers.
