A Timeless French Wedding with Classic Romance and American Influence at Chateau de Lacoste
With the overall palette kept entirely white, we wanted the food and drinks to bring both color and life to the celebration. We saw the menu as a love letter to France, and to Dordogne in particular, with foie gras, truffles, oysters, a series of colorful cold soups, along with a tomato bar. Naturally, we couldn’t resist adding an American twist, so burgers and fries made a well-timed appearance at midnight. The cocktails were just as personal: kir royals and old fashioneds in tribute to our families, while spritzes and gin basil cocktails were inspired by our travels.
