A Timelessly Elegant Wedding in Soft Blush, Pale Yellow, and Classic White
[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]
Our wedding colors were a soft and romantic blend of pale yellow, blush, and white. This gentle palette perfectly captured the timeless and elegant atmosphere we wanted to create, setting the tone for a day filled with warmth, grace, and subtle beauty.

Our wedding vision was rooted in timeless elegance. We wanted a celebration that felt classic yet effortlessly refined. Every detail from the soft color palette to the traditional touches was chosen to create a sense of understated sophistication. We wanted the day to feel graceful and romantic, the kind of beauty that never goes out of style.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]
Reece proposed to me in December of 2024 while we were walking around a local botanical garden, looking at Christmas lights. He had a hidden photographer who captured the magical moment, and later that night, he surprised me with an engagement party surrounded by my friends and family from North Caroli,na and my brother even flew in from South Korea. The night was a dream come true!

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]My wedding gown was by Essense of Australia, style D4145. It felt like it was pulled straight from a fairytale, featuring a graceful basque waist and delicate buttons trailing down the train. To my delight, I later discovered the dress even had pockets—a charming surprise that made me fall in love with it all over again after I had already said “yes to the dress.[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]
I found the perfect shade of yellow for the bridesmaid dresses from Billy J, a boutique based in Australia. I wanted each of my bridesmaids to choose a style they felt beautiful and comfortable in without spending a fortune. Several of them even told me it was their favorite bridesmaid dress they had ever worn!

The reception was held at The Grand America Hotel, where they took care of all the food and drinks. Cocktail hour took place outside on the Grand Salon Patio, where guests enjoyed our signature drinks and light bites. The “Reece Water,” a twist on the Texas classic ranch water, and the “Lady Mere,” our take on a timeless cosmopolitan. Dinner was inside the Grand Salon ballroom, where we started with the beet carpaccio salad, followed by the choice of beef ribeye or chicken florentine, both paired with sauteed long carrots and asparagus and herbed mashed potatoes.

Florals and decor were brought to life by the wonderful Mille Fleur Design. Marrianne was a dream to work with and knew exactly what to do in each space we were in. She transformed my Pinterest board into a breathtaking reality filling every space with lush florals and romantic candles.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]
Our wedding cake was a three-tiered white cake with delicate fondant flowers cascading down each tier created by The Grand America Hotel.
