A Truly Floral-Filled Wedding at Houston Oaks Country Club Where "No Color Was Off Limits"

Set in the picturesque Texas countryside, Rowe and Nicole’s wedding was a vibrant celebration of their shared vision — as the bride described, “No color was off limits, and no color was too bright!” The Houston Oaks Country Club, true to its name, provided a stunning backdrop with perfectly manicured lawns and majestic oak trees.

Rowe and Nicole met on the Houston Rodeo Livestock Committee, proving that shared passions can spark true love where you least expect it. A year and a half later, Rowe proposed in the breathtaking mountains of Beaver Creek, Colorado. Their wedding dreams quickly became a reality, as the couple planned their wedding in just five months, infusing every detail of their day with vibrant bursts of flowers. For their honeymoon, Rowe and Nicole traveled to Maui, Hawaii, where they enjoyed a mix of relaxation and adventure. A standout moment was watching whales prepare their calves for the long journey back to Alaska — an experience Nicole described as “absolutely breathtaking!”

Nicole wore a breathtaking Mira Zwillinger gown paired with bright floral Jimmy Choo heels, later swapping them for personalized Miron boots.

Bridesmaids donned pink dresses adorned with bright green floral prints, each carrying a uniquely colored bouquet of sweet peas.

The playful menu included fried chicken and boozy milkshakes.

The couple exchanged vows at the chapel steps, where a charming altar brimming with vibrant florals stood against the white brick façade. With fun and inclusivity as priorities, the reception featured unassigned seating, inviting guests to mingle and dine on couches or at bar tables.

Florals were a recurring motif, with a final statement gracing the wedding cake in intricate three-dimensional white petals.

Nicole’s artistic flair was evident throughout the event. Her hand-drawn illustrations of the chapel, cowboy boots, and other thematic details adorned cups, napkins, and bar signs.
