Set against the shimmering shores of Wailea, Dennis and Tatiana’s wedding at the Andaz Maui was the perfect fusion of elevated romance and island playfulness — a day soaked in sunlight, sentiment, and sophisticated tropical vibes. With the vision of “simple luxury meets tropical vacation,” the couple created an experience that was as intentional as it was unforgettable. The design was romantic and effortlessly chic; the wedding embraced a warm neutral palette with soft whites, taupes, and beiges, all highlighted by sunset-inspired pops of pink, orange, and yellow. Every design detail felt intimate yet vibrant — playful tropical touches paired seamlessly with clean, modern styling. The seating at the ceremony featured cross-back wooden chairs, while at the reception, a U-shaped arrangement around a white dance floor kept the energy connected and inviting.

Tatiana gave the floral team free rein, resulting in joyful, organic arrangements that paired garden textures with bursts of tropical color. Her bouquet was a lightweight delight of tropical florals and greenery in sun-washed hues. The ceremony arch, partially exposed to showcase its curved wooden frame, was lined with whimsical, modern florals and lush greens that hinted at the island’s natural bounty.

Their wedding cake was a stunner: a two-tiered creation featuring layers of red velvet and guava — tropical, bold, and uniquely them. Designed with minimalistic elegance, it echoed the overall design aesthetic while serving as a sweet finale.

As guests arrived, a violinist set the tone for the romantic ceremony ahead. The floral-draped arch framed the ocean view, while the subtle elegance of natural wood chairs and soft cushions added comfort and warmth to the coastal breeze. Cocktail Hour & Bar Details After saying “I do,” guests transitioned to cocktail hour, greeted by high-top tables and luxe lounge seating. The wood bar became a standout with its overhead tropical greenery installation and a playful surfboard sign displaying signature cocktails. Fresh-pressed juice-based drinks — crafted to perfection — matched the lighthearted yet luxe atmosphere.

Beneath warm overhead lighting and flickering candles, guests danced the night away. The tables were adorned with low-profile tropical centerpieces and sleek modern vases, creating a cohesive and elevated look.

Adding a whimsical twist, the couple kept traditions they loved — like the father-daughter and mother-son dances — but skipped the wedding party altogether. Instead, every male guest wore beige suit jackets for a coordinated, casual-chic flair.

But the moment everyone will remember? Dennis and Tatiana’s perfectly choreographed Elvis Presley dance that started with “Hawaiian Wedding Song” and broke out into “Burning Love” — the ultimate surprise, and a reflection of their fun, nontraditional spirit.
