This Brooklyn Botanic Garden wedding was a vibrant celebration of nature’s beauty, infused with the charm of a garden party. Bursting with bright florals from Blue Jasmine Floral, the design embraced the lush surroundings, creating an atmosphere that was both romantic and joyfully exuberant. The proposal was a blend of intimacy and celebration, reflecting the couple’s relationship. It began with a morning walk along the West Side Highway, a favorite spot where they often spend time together, soaking in the city’s energy and waterfront views. As the sun rose over the Hudson, Connor got down on one knee and proposed. The surprise didn’t end there—waiting atop a rooftop in NYC was a gathering of their closest friends and family, ready to celebrate their engagement.

To complete the meal, the wedding cake was a beautifully decorated vanilla layered confection, adorned with delicate floral accents that tied seamlessly into the garden party theme.

The couple’s mutual best friend officiated the ceremony, with the groom’s best friend of 20 years playing the piano. Light string music added an elegant touch to the cocktail hour

The couple did their first dance to “In My Life” by the Beatles, which was the same song the bride’s parents danced to 30 years ago at their wedding. This was a surprise to the bride’s parents!
