Celebrating the Natural Beauty of Martha's Vineyard at This Effortless Spring Wedding

Kristin and Mac designed their wedding to capture the essence of a classic Vineyard celebration, weaving in colors of blue, white, green, and rattan accents to reflect the natural beauty of the island.

The day began with a joyful, stylish touch as the girls got ready in matching blue PJs adorned with feathers, which set a lighthearted, fun tone for the morning.
Kristin and Mac, who love spending time on the Edgartown Harbor, chose this beloved spot for their bridal party photos, creating a personal and picturesque start to the festivities.

The couple collaborated with Buckley’s Catering, a local vendor on the island known for sourcing ingredients locally. Supporting the island’s economy and embracing fresh, local products was essential to them, adding an authentic Vineyard touch. With so many incredible farms here, crafting a farm-to-table menu felt both natural and meaningful. The cocktail bar overlooked the stunning views of the lagoon and Vineyard Haven Harbor, while the signature cocktails offered vibrant colors reminiscent of a Vineyard sunset, adding a lively pop of color as guests mingled.

Kristin & Mac chose flowers commonly found around the island, like white hydrangeas and roses, to create an authentic Vineyard ambiance. Every detail was thoughtfully incorporated to craft the perfect island-inspired wedding experience for their guests. The bride and groom wanted a coastal-inspired detail for the escort card display and used oyster shells with pearls to elegantly guide guests to their seats. Finding the perfect linens was a journey, but the Stradley Davidson collection fit their vision flawlessly, capturing the Vineyard’s light, airy, and preppy vibe. To recreate a cozy, restaurant bar feel, Kristin & Mac added warm lamps and custom decals that made each bar truly unique. As guests entered the tent, they were greeted by a beautiful guestbook setup and a card box with a grand floral arrangement, setting the stage for a memorable evening.

Kristin & Mac chose a simple white cake adorned with vineyard flowers to further embrace the authentic Vineyard feel. Sandy Brooks at Timeless Event Planning is passionate about repurposing flowers to craft stunning settings with carefully curated arrangements for her clients. One of her favorite touches is positioning the cake-cutting table at the tent entrance, framed by lush flowers and greenery. This setup not only creates a beautiful photo backdrop but also serves as a memorable focal point for guests during the cake cutting.
