Houston march on towards January football and are one of the steps to eliminating the Chiefs from the playoffs. Meanwhile Patrick Mahomes looks like he is done for the day as he lies on the turf with an injury to a knee.

The comeback is complete! Buffalo pull off a sensational comeback and keep the race alive for the AFC East. Incredible.

Maye misses a throw on 3rd down. Are they going for it? Yes. 4th and 5. Maye holds on to it for an age and nothing opes up. He chucks it to no one. Joey Bosa makes the play by biding his time then pouncing to pressure Maye. Game very nearly over after the turnover on downs. New England’s defense need a huge play.

Baltimore apply the pressure to Pittsburgh at the top of the AFC North. Job, very easily, done. Bengals are eliminated from the playoffs.

Buffallo running the clock down with Cook smashing against the rocks of New England’s defensive line. And the Patriots force a quick punt. Excellent from Carlton Davis to read the swing pass and swarm on Ty Johnson before the line to gain.

The air has completely escaped the balloon for New England. Hunter Henry drops one on 3rd down to bring out the punt team for the Patriots. It wasn’t the easiest of catches but you get the feeling the tight end had one eye on where he needed to get to for the 1st down. Pressure telling, possibly?

What a turnaround after the Bills were down 21-0. They take over with five minutes remaining.

Bills get a huge let off after a pass interference call on 3rd down. A run from Cook then moves Buffalo to about the 10-yard line. Well placed to retake the lead. This is end-to-end stuff! On the next play he scampers through the middle and home. They have the lead again! “What a game!” says Iron Eagle. Not wrong, Iron. Not wrong.

The ugliest of beatdowns is at an end but the box score still isn’t pretty for the Eagles. Their O-line just is not the same as last season. Saquon Barkley finishes 78yards on 22 carries and a score, 3.5 yards per carry is pretty meh.
