Leaning into a delicate summery energy, Johnson wore Saint Laurent’s strappy Kitty sandals for the occasion. Crafted with shiny leather, the shoes featured a slender strap across the toe and a slender ankle strap. Silver oval buckle details distinguished the set from the standard dainty sandal, in addition to an angled stiletto heel and an almond toe that narrowed into a point.

This isn’t the only celebrity-worn sandal with a buckle offered by the French luxury brand — Alix Earle wore Saint Laurent’s Simone mules, which feature a rhinestone buckle, to the AMAs in May.

Johnson’s Kitty sandals accompanied a shiny black dress from Gucci, a brand she often wears and has modeled for in the past. The flowy backless dress features an asymmetrical top and column skirt with a slender stretch of fabric cinching the waist and a halter neck. Her accessories included ornate dangling earrings and a ring, both from Messika, as well as a black Gucci purse.

Johnson has worn Saint Laurent shoes while promoting “Materialists” before. She donned a pair of slingback pumps, the brand’s Raven style, to complement a Nensi Dojaka dress during a recent appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyers.”

Also starring Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal, “Materialists” is set for release on Friday.
