Dogs, 90s Nostalgia, and Napa Romance: A Wedding Weekend Made Just for Them

Inspired by their first visit to The French Laundry, Greta and Ben chose Napa Valley for a weekend celebration full of personal touches and romantic nods to their journey. From their dogs walking the aisle to a 90s-infused afterparty, every moment was thoughtful, joyful, and undeniably them.

Greta and Ben’s love story began with a bold (and brilliant) move. After spotting Greta on Hinge, Ben placed an oversized flower order from her business, Glasswing Floral, just to meet her. The ruse led to flirty messages, an in-person flower handoff, and a proper first date, where Greta immediately called him out. Ben confessed, Greta laughed, and the rest unfolded naturally. They quickly discovered a rare and shared magic, falling in love over music and meaningful conversations. Two years later, Ben proposed to Greta on Nantucket, on the anniversary of their first official date. She said yes (after teasing that the ring box was upside down) and “Dependence Day” was born.

Greta wore a butterfly-and-floral embroidered Monique Lhuillier gown she had dreamed of long before meeting Ben. It ended up being serendipitously perfect, as his last name, Rosenblatt, means “rose leaf.”

Guests were treated to three signature cocktails — La Vie En Rosé, Hava Tequila, and Mint To Be.

The weekend featured curated vintage stamps, watercolor stationery inspired by their china, and save-the-date music boxes that played “La Vie en Rose,” a tribute to their Paris ceremony and wedding hashtag, La Vie en Rosenblatt.

The couple’s magnificent wedding cake sat amid a meadow of wildflowers, all tied together with a black bow.

Greta walked down the aisle to “Greta in G,” an original composition by Ben, beneath a chuppah draped with her late father’s tallis.
