Donald Trump Gropes Satan’s Leg in New ‘South Park’ Footage; Show Won’t Air New Episode This Week but Keeps Targeting Trump Anyway
“South Park” will not be airing a new episode on Comedy Central this week, but that doesn’t mean creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are taking a break from targeting Donald Trump. In a new trailer for Season 27 Episode 2, the show’s version of Trump is seen groping Satan’s leg under a table during a public dinner event for the president. Satan bats Trump’s hand away and says,”Stop!” The footage also includes Cartman channeling conservative pundit Charles Kirk and Mr. Mackey riding in a van with ICE officers.
It’s unclear at this time whether or not the footage in the trailer will actually make it to air in this season’s second episode. Parker and Stone famously create new episodes of “South Park” in near-real time so they can be as relevant as possible. The duo recently admitted that a Season 27 trailer that dropped in April included footage created specifically for the promo and not from actual episodes.
“South Park” Season 27 kicked off July 27 with an explosive episode that made national headlines for targeting Donald Trump. The show featured Trump begging for sex from Satan and aired a Deepfake-assisted PSA where Trump stripped naked. Both in the show and the PSA, Trump was depicted having comically small genitalia. The PSA ends with the slogan: “Trump. His penis is teeny-tiny, but his love for us is large.”
Trump’s White House eviscerated “South Park” in a statement after the premiere’s airing, saying: “This show hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention. President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country’s history – and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump’s hot streak.”
In an appearance at Comic-Con, Parker and Stone revealed they had to battle Comedy Central in order show Trump’s penis on air.
“It’s always like, ‘So we love the episode,’ but that’s what happened,” Parker said. “They’re like, ‘OK, but we’re gonna blur the penis.’ And I’m like, ‘No, you’re not gonna blur the penis’… if we put eyes on the penis, we won’t blur it. And then that was a whole conversation for about four fucking days. It’s a character.”
The “South Park” Season 27 premiere aired soon after Parker and Stone signed a new five-year deal with Paramount that includes 50 new episodes, plus all seasons of the show becoming available to stream on Paramount+ for the first time.
The next new episode of “South Park” airs Wednesday, Aug. 6 on Comedy Central and streams the next day on Paramount+.
