Emma Chamberlain’s Short Platinum Pixie Cut at Prada Spring 2026
Emma Chamberlain is proving her pixie cut is here to stay. The 24-year-old YouTuber and founder of Chamberlain Coffee arrived to Prada’s spring 2026 fashion show in Milan on Thursday with her ultra-short, platinum-colored hairdo freshly cut and brushed down over the top of her forehead.

Here, the stark shade, previously yellow, was tinged with silver and white hues. Chamberlain’s short ends swept across the right side of her head above the oversize, orange aviator shades covering her eyes. The hair on the sides of her head barely tickled her ears, while a few of her front pieces appeared to be shorter than others like choppy micro bangs.
Previously, Chamberlain has tapped hair artist Sami Knight, colorist Anthony Vincent Ronquillo and stylist Frank of Fabulous Frank to craft her aesthetic. In a statement sent to WWD, Ronquillo confirmed he handled Chamberlain’s color for the Prada spring 2026 show before she left for Milan. Frank also confirmed he cut her hair for the event and it’s the shortest he’s chopped it since he first collaborated with Chamberlain for the Oscars in March. Meanwhile, Knight’s team notified WWD that he was unable to style Chamberlain for the Milan outing on Thursday.

“For the hair color, the inspo is always as blond as possible. For Emma, we always use gentle lightener to keep the hair healthy but get it as light as possible to achieve a clean platinum blond,” Ronquillo told WWD.
Jared Ellner — the fashion stylist who’s client list includes Sabrina Carpenter, Molly Gordon and Chamberlain — was alongside the famed social media star at the presentation in Milan, as well as Charli D’Amelio, Kerry Washington and Sadie Sink.

It’s been a year since Chamberlain chopped her below-the-shoulders hair and switched the color from medium, honey-toned brown to bleach blond. She first revealed her hair transformation on Instagram in September 2024, which, at the time, was a long bob with shaggy layers. Next to images of her fresh cut, Chamberlain shared the written definition of “hair theory.” She wrote: “Hair Theory: The way we choose to style our hair heavily impacts the way other people see us, and the way we see ourselves (according to the internet.”
Over the last 12 months, Chamberlain has slowly transitioned from the hybrid bob to the pixie cut, updating the color, tone and length along the way.
