Judge orders new block on Trump using Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelan gang suspects

A federal judge ordered a temporary halt Wednesday to the administration’s attempt to deport Venezuelan gang suspects, saying he needs some time to evaluate a new ACLU lawsuit challenging the legality of President Trump’s actions using the Alien Enemies Act.
