Julianne Moore Embraces Summer Style in Khaite Studded Sandals During ‘Echo Valley’ Promo Tour

Julianne Moore kept things crisp in London on Monday, stepping out in a black-and-white look grounded by studded leather sandals from Khaite’s spring 2025 collection. The actor was photographed arriving at BBC Radio 6 to promote “Echo Valley,” her new Apple TV+ drama series, alongside Sydney Sweeney and directed by Michael Pearce.

Her shoes — the Khaite Boden sandal — featured silver dome studs across a single band of smooth black vachetta leather. The wraparound construction hugged the foot with minimal hardware, save for subtle snap closures near the sole. Made in Italy, the sandal is lined with suede and designed to mold to the foot over time.

Moore paired the low sandals with sheer white trousers, cut wide through the leg and slightly translucent in the light. The silhouette and fabric closely mirrored pieces from Khaite’s spring 2025 collection, which featured organza pants styled under funnel-neck dresses, pinstripe jackets and ruched tunics. As WWD noted in its runway review, “[Catherine Holstein] went wild with sheer looks and layering, creating what may be the first major spring trend — sheer organza pants.” The styling emphasized transparency without losing structure, a balance reflected in Moore’s own pared-down ensemble.

Additionally, Moore wore a black sweater with a polo-style collar and ribbed cuffs that fell just above the wrist. She kept accessories minimal, adding only oversize aviator-style sunglasses with gradient brown lenses. Her hair was worn straight with a soft side part, and her makeup included a light berry lip.

Moore’s choice of Khaite footwear follows a recent string of celebrity endorsements for the label’s shoe offerings. On June 1, Dakota Johnson stepped out in New York City in Khaite’s angular Colt wedges, pairing the sculptural heel with vintage denim and a suede blazer. Back in March, Katie Holmes opted for a strapless Khaite column dress for the “Othello” opening night in New York, a look styled with similarly understated accessories. Both looks, like Moore’s, leaned into the brand’s balance of softness and structure — a formula that continues to resonate on and off the red carpet.
