Law Roach Shakes Things Up With Johnnie Walker
LAYING DOWN THE LAW: Law Roach, who works with Zendaya, Ariana Grande and Naomi Campbell, is known for his good taste.
In his latest collaboration with Johnnie Walker, Roach has applied his talents in a different way: by developing four cocktails with the Scotch whisky label’s newly launched Johnnie Walker Black Ruby.
“I’ve always been about reinvention — whether that’s red-carpet fashion or now, reimagining classic cocktails,” he explained. “Black Ruby is all about a bolder, sweeter twist on Scotch, and that really spoke to me. I loved the idea of challenging people’s perceptions of whisky and bringing some glamour, creativity and fun into cocktail culture.”

Roach shook up four classic cocktails, old fashioneds, negronis, Tom Collins and Brambles, to create berry-flavored variations with his own signature flair. But it isn’t just about the flavor — this is Law Roach, after all.
“I wanted cocktails that not only taste incredible but look fabulous too. Think of glassware as your outfit, garnish as your accessories and ice as your statement piece. For me, it’s about making cocktails as expressive and stylish as the people drinking them,” he said.
Roach even swung by the British capital during London Fashion Week to celebrate the cocktail launch, where he got a firsthand taste of the city’s electric nightlife and style.

“There’s this incredible mix of cultures, sounds and styles all colliding in one place, which makes it a playground for inspiration,” he said.
He added: “The fashion you see on the streets and in the clubs is fearless, it’s where people really push boundaries, mix eras and create their own rules. That energy seeps into my work because it reminds me that fashion isn’t just about luxury or red carpets, it’s about real life, real expression. Every city has its vibe, but London’s nightlife has that rebellious spirit and authenticity that keeps me inspired.”
