On today’s episode of Variety podcast “Strictly Business,” our guests are definitely industry leaders in TV.

On Sept. 25 Variety hosted its annual Entertainment and Technology summit in Los Angeles. It kicked off with a panel that I moderated featuring six senior executives chopping it up on the latest shifts in streaming and linear strategies, the rise of YouTube and savvy IP management.

The full opening session features Starz’s Alison Hoffman, NBCUniversal’s Lisa Katz, Amazon MGM Studios’ Laura Lancaster, Warner Bros. TV Group’s Brett Paul, Sony Pictures TV’s Katherine Pope and Fox’s Michael Thorn.

It was the strong cup of coffee that summit attendees needed to get the day off to a productive start. It was truly standing room only at the event all day. For that variety extends its gratitutde to all of our speakers and all of our attendees. Here’s the panel.
