Lush Florals and Candlelight for a Romantic Courtyard Wedding

The wedding colors were whites and dark greens with touches of champagne.
The dreamy design was an intimate courtyard wedding with lush flowers and candlelight, with our closest family and loved ones.
“Andy proposed during our incredible vacation to Switzerland, at the spectacular Jungfraujoch, known as the “Top of Europe.” Standing at such an extraordinary height, surrounded by the majestic Swiss Alps, the moment felt like something out of a fairytale. Snow-capped peaks stretched endlessly around us. He asked me the most important question of my life. The beauty and serenity of that place made the proposal even more magical, and it became a memory I’ll cherish forever.” – Bride Brieana Nissen-Barber

I Dew Events created a lush floral aisle with dark greens and white blooms lining the aisle and draped above the couple’s heads on the iron balcony for a stunning ceremony backdrop. The florist repurposed the flowers from the aisle to the reception tables to create a long, lush garland of greens and fresh blooms in the courtyard. Surrounded by glass champagne chargers, romantic lighting on the courtyard tree, and candlelight to complete the look of the reception.

One of the most unforgettable moments of our wedding day was when Andy and I walked down the aisle together. He waited for me halfway, and as I made my entrance, we met in the middle. It was such a beautiful and unique moment, one that felt so personal and meaningful to us.
We chose to do a first look and took photos before the ceremony, and it truly would have felt complete without our little fur baby, Nola, our four-pound Pomeranian, right there with us. She was such an important part of our day, and we made sure she was included in the photos. Having Nola by our side in those moments added a whole new layer of joy, making everything feel even more personal and perfectly ours.
