Modern East Meets West Wedding in Malibu at Stone Mountain Estates
[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”The Inspiration”]For this shoot, we wanted to bring a sense of NYC chic to the West coast. The design blended organic textures and florals with modern elements like the shape of the ceremony design and paper. [/field]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Mauve, purple, pink, gold, brown[/field]
[field title=”The Venue”]Stone Mountain Estates sit atop of stunning mountain view in Malibu. Paired with an epic sunset and beautiful gardens, it’s a perfect blend of Californian charm and a modern European aesthetic. [/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]The bride wore a Mira Zwillinger ballgown with a detached long sleeve topper from NWLA Bridal. She later changed into a more fashion forward strapless Berta dress, which had a definite pink tone and played beautifully off the sunset colors. [/field]

[section title=”The Details”]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Pomona Floral created organic designs based on what was available at and near the venue. Playing off the balance between modern and soft, the florals provided beautiful pops of color on the tablescape, as well as so many unique shapes and textures. [/field]
[field title=”Favorite Design Element”]There were two! The focus for this shoot for both ceremony and reception design was to curate something different. The ceremony was designed by East Made Co in the shape of an S, which could be visible from the balcony and drone shots. The reception design created an L along the pool, giving off a European aesthetic and a unique way to showcase the different locations and angles of the venue. [/field]
[field title=”Tips To Pull Off The Look”]Be sure to choose designs and elements that feel genuine to the venue. Fashion should compliment the design in color, texture, and grandeur. [/field]
