Although LeBron James and the No. 3-seed Los Angeles Lakers were eliminated from the 2025 NBA Playoffs (by the No. 6-seed Minnesota Timberwolves), there’s a long offseason for James to prepare for another of basketball season in La La Land. And to get ready for relaxing nights with the family at home between seasons, Nike released limited-edition LeBron James “Monopoly“-branded sneakers (his favorite board game).
With starting prices of $120.97 (reg. $200), these Nike LeBron signature shoes — in partnership with Hasbro — come in unisex sizes for adults, while each pair of sneakers come in their own unique attention-grabbing colorway that match life on the court, or in casual every day wear.
Both of the sneakers are made with striking lines and fit color schemes with receptive traction and cushioning support for additional bounce. The sneakers also feature Nike’s Air Zoom forefoot for speed, absorption and cushion.
Designed with a Mint Foam, Light Lemon Twist, Aquarius Blue and Cerise colorway, the Nike LeBron XXII “What The Currency” sneakers features a pair of game dice above their midsole, while a tag with the “Monopoly” logo can be spotted at the tail of the Nike Swoosh. In fact, there’s even a “Monopoly” logo on each insole, as well as the “Monopoly” dollar sign on each shoe tongue. A pair is on sale for $120.97 (reg. $200).
Meanwhile, Nike LeBron NXXT Genisus EP sneakers is priced at $160 and features the number “500” (the largest Monopoly Money denomination) on their inner quarter with James’ crown logo just above it. The shoes have the same “Monopoly” branding as their counterpart, but instead of “Monopoly” dollar sign on the tongues, it’s replaced with LeBron James’ signature. Lastly, they come in a Persian Violet, Imperial Purple, Glacier Ice and White colorway.
