Pops of Bright Yellow for This Modern Wedding Design in Malibu

East Made Co. curated a texture-filled modern design, strongly influenced by the colors and textures present at Agave House. We sought to bring a modern, NYC chic touch to the West Coast California vibe.
Green, yellow, lilac
Agave House Malibu is a private rental hidden high up in the Malibu hills. The ample space around the building and the breathtaking views were a no brainer for this inspiration shoot.

The bride wore three different dresses, all from NWLA Bridal. The first was a simple gown, allowing for easy movement while getting ready. The second offered a chicer and cleaner option, while the last dress for the ceremony added texture through lace and detachable sleeves.

Florals remained organic and fully inspired by the textures available in Malibu. Pomona Floral curated many natural elements to really highlight the beauty of this particular area of California. Tones stayed with greens and yellows (and some purple) to reflect this.
The tablescape design was a particular highlight, as the textures of the florals and dishes paired beautifully with the surrounding setting as the sunset behind the hills.
Hire a bridal stylist to help curate three different looks. Each look should be reflective of the design and moment of the day. Look for fashionable and unique details, as well as ease of use and practicality.
