Puma and Rombaut Tease Latest ‘Levitation’ Sneaker
Puma’s final installment of its partnership with Rombaut is almost here.
In a teaser image, the German sportswear company released a look at the duo’s upcoming Speedcat sneaker with the now iconic “Levitation” sole.
And in true Rombaut fashion, the Speedcat receives a retro-futuristic upgrade in the duo’s latest tie-up. Crafted from technical silver mesh and man-made leather, the design features Rombaut’s signature cell bubble detailing – creating an organic, fluid silhouette that nods to the brand’s vision of harmony between nature and technology.
This design is underscored by the “Levitation” sole featuring a floating heel element that gives the shoe a unique and structure. The release also included the Puma x Rombaut “Levitation” Sock in an exclusive white colorway showcasing pre-worn detailing and signature Rombaut finishing.
Aside from the teased silver colorway, Puma is also expected to release a white and black version of the sneaker as well. For the white colorway, a contrasting gum sole with a soft suede toe highlights the sneaker, while the black version features a brown distressed tooling.
Set to be released on Nov. 18, the silver and white colorways are expected to be available at Rombaut.com and select retailers such as Slam Jam, Luisaviaroma, GR8, Notitle, and Casestudy. The black colorway available exclusively at Rombaut.com.
The “Levitation” design first captured attention at Rombaut’s spring/summer 2025 runway show during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, which marked the brand’s 10th anniversary. The initial colorways were launched in March, which set the stage for a follow-up drop in May.
