Planner Jillian elevated the reception with a surprise custom bar and lounge from her own rental collection, adding a thoughtfully curated layer to the Mountain View Terrace celebration. The result was a day that felt refined yet relaxed—elegant without ever feeling too formal.

From the bride: “Sam completely surprised me the morning he proposed. I thought we were meeting friends for breakfast! We decided to go on a walk beforehand along one of our usual walking routes, and that’s when he popped the question. It turned out to be a much better surprise than breakfast!”

Eleanor wore a classic Anne Barge gown that perfectly echoed the timeless elegance of the day, structured, graceful, and beautifully tailored. For the ceremony, she added a lace topper that carried special meaning: it had originally been worn by her sister at her own wedding, making it a meaningful tribute to family. The Broadmoor catered the evening with a beautifully curated menu and exceptional service, offering guests a true taste of Colorado luxury. Adding a personal touch, planner Jillian surprised the couple with a custom-designed bar, creating a stylish focal point for drinks and conversation during the cocktail hour.

The soft, monochromatic palette created a light and airy feel that beautifully complemented the mountain setting and classic attire. The four-tiered wedding cake, created by The Broadmoor, was a stunning white confection, adorned with sculptural white sugar flowers that added a modern yet delicate touch. Its clean design perfectly complemented the day’s elegant and timeless aesthetic.

During the Catholic ceremony at The Broadmoor’s Pauline Chapel, the groom accidentally began his vows with “I, Eleanor…” which immediately brought laughter and lightened the mood. Even the usually serious monsignor couldn’t help but smile, making the moment a joyful and memorable highlight of the day.

Eleanor was set on having portraits with stunning mountain views, so her planner thoughtfully reserved the Parker Suite, complete with a private terrace over the porte-cochère. There, Eleanor and Sam looked every bit like royalty against the breathtaking Colorado landscape.

Later in the evening, Eleanor changed into a beaded fringe dress by Nadine Merabi – paired with boots – for a look that was equal parts glamorous and fun. With SoulX keeping the dance floor packed all night, her dress swished and sparkled with every step, perfectly matching the high-energy celebration.
