Rush Announces Additional Dates for ‘Fifty Something’ Reunion Tour

Shortly after announcing a summer 2026 headlining tour, Rush has unveiled additional dates for their “Fifty Something” reunion, tacking on shows in almost all of the previously announced cities.

Rush, consisting of founders Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, has added new dates in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, Toronto, Fort Worth and Cleveland. This will be the first time that Lee and Lifeson have toured together in 11 years, and they will be joined by drummer Anika Nilles, who previously toured with Jeff Beck and has released four solo albums.

The tour is being described as a “celebration of Rush’s music, legacy and the life of the late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart,” who died in January 2020 from glioblastoma. It kicks off at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum on June 7 and 9, with new dates added for June 11 and 13, making for a full circle moment as Rush played their last show at the venue in August 2015.

In a release, Lee said of the tour, “After all that has gone down since that last show, Alex and I have done some serious soul searching and come to the decision that we fucking miss it, and that it’s time for a celebration of 50-something years of RUSH music. So in 2026 my BFF Lerxst (aka Alex Lifeson) and I are going to hit the road once again to pay tribute to our past and to Neil by performing a vast selection of RUSH songs in a handful of cities. No small task, because as we all know Neil was irreplaceable.”
