The wedding colors, red and white, were chosen as a fun and meaningful nod to their multicultural heritage. With roots in both Poland and Indonesia, these colors beautifully represent the flags of both countries, adding a personal and symbolic touch to the celebration. The wedding design seamlessly blended Polish and Indonesian influences, creating a refined East meets West aesthetic. The elegant combination of orchids and lilies set the tone, complemented by soft Toile de Jouy prints and natural textures like rattan. A mix of classical inspiration and playful, modern touches gave the wedding a timeless yet vibrant feel. The overall vision celebrated the couple’s multicultural heritage, with thoughtful elements that beautifully tied together tradition and contemporary style.

Marcin and Emilva’s proposal story is as enchanting as their love. They decided to escape for a romantic weekend to Mont Saint-Michel, a stunning island village known for its picturesque views. After a cozy dinner, the couple took a peaceful walk towards the castle island as the sun began to set, casting a magical glow over the surroundings. As the sky turned dark, Marcin asked Emilva to take a picture of him with her phone. In that moment, as she reached for her phone, he asked her to turn on the flashlight, since it was already dark, and the streets were without streetlights. When she did, he dropped to one knee and asked the question she had been waiting for. The moment was perfect — intimate, unexpected, and filled with the timeless beauty of Mont Saint-Michel. With the backdrop of the night sky, Emilva said yes, marking the beginning of their next chapter together.

Emilva’s wedding gown was a perfect blend of classic elegance and modern minimalism. Designed with a structured corset and high-quality silk drapes, the gown created a statuesque silhouette that made her feel both feminine and confident. The dress, named Myra, was a true showstopper, with a custom-made corset and an option for a laced back or invisible zipper. The varied colors allowed each bridesmaid to shine individually while still feeling part of the cohesive, elegant theme of the day.

The food and drinks at Parc Broekhuizen were a true highlight of the celebration, with a refined wine pairing menu that elevated every course. Guests were treated to a selection of seasonal, locally sourced dishes, each thoughtfully crafted to complement the flavors of the carefully chosen wines. The menu was a perfect balance of modern culinary techniques and traditional flavors, offering a memorable dining experience.

Orchids and lilies, symbolizing the couple’s heritage, took center stage in the floral arrangements, while the ceremony backdrop, inspired by a classical Greek archway, added a timeless and grand touch. Elegant Toile de Jouy linens and quirky hanging lampshades brought a mix of sophistication and playfulness to the décor. Chairs with rattan accents, a nod to Indonesian craftsmanship, added texture and natural warmth to the setting. Personalized details like folding fans with guests’ names, hand-painted paper umbrellas, and carousel-style dinner menus delighted guests, while the stationery seamlessly tied it all together. Poppy flowers and orchids, along with Indonesian batik patterns and Polish wycinanki, were beautifully incorporated into the designs, celebrating the couple’s multicultural roots in every detail.

The wedding cake was a true reflection of the couple’s taste and style, combining a unique flavor with a modern design. For the flavor, they chose Yuzu, their favorite, offering a refreshing and citrusy twist that added a distinctive touch to the celebration. The design was equally striking, featuring a modern, square-shaped multi-tier cake that made a bold statement. Delicate petals were paint-brushed with a rich red, adding a pop of color and a romantic, artistic flair. The cake was not only a delicious treat but also a stunning piece of art, perfectly complementing the overall elegant and contemporary theme of the wedding.
