The parents of seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe and six-year-old Bebe King have paid an emotional tribute to their daughters who were murdered at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class.

Jenni and David Stancombe and the parents of Bebe King, who cannot be named for legal reasons, spoke for the first time about their children to ITV’s Good Morning Britain programme.

Axel Rudakubana was given a life sentence with a minimum term of 52 years for murdering the girls, and nine-year-old Alice da Silva Aguiar, in Southport last year.
