Tinashe Joins Croc-embossed Trend in Knee-high Boots for Lakers Game

Tinashe brought a monochromatic look while attending an NBA game. The singer sat courtside at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on Thursday night, cheering on while the L.A. Clippers played the L.A. Lakers. For the outing, she went with an all-black ensemble, grounded by a pair of black thigh-high boots.

Tinashe’s over-the-knee boots were embossed in crocodile leather and featured an angular, pointed toe. Her glossy black boots had a slouchy look to them, which added to the overall casual style of her outfit. A thick block heel that reached at least three inches completed the boots.

Tinashe is one of the latest celebrities to don the season’s tall-boot streak, particularly around thigh-high silhouettes. Rita Ora wore a similar pair to Tinashe’s while out and about in December before cohosting “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.” The month before, Ali Larter wore a pair of matte black thigh-high boots with a lacquered Teresa Helbig mini at Elle’s Women in Hollywood Celebration. The model adds drama to any outfit while also adding a bit more coverage, ideal for winter months.

The “Nasty” musician paired her thigh-high pair of boots with an all-black outfit, streamlining the look. She wore a black lace sleeveless top underneath an oversize black leather jacket that hung off her shoulder. She paired her coat with baggy black denim shorts. Her Bermuda-length shorts reached the top of her boots. She added a black distressed baseball cap to monochromatic and accessorized further with a handful of layered chain necklaces, plus a few rings.
