Vintage Hydrangeas and Blush Roses for an Elegant Italian Garden Celebration

The team from Stiatti Fiori orchestrated a restrained yet striking color scheme that honored the villa’s outdoor spaces. A carpet of vintage hydrangeas and blush-toned roses framed the ceremony and aperitivo, drawing attention to the garden’s classical vistas.

The day’s mood blended elegant modernity with vintage charm and Italian traditions, paying homage to the bride’s roots.

from the bride ” My wedding dress journey started with a simple idea: a classic, elegant satin gown. I spent hours trying on different satin dresses, but none of them truly felt right or like “the one.” Frustrated but still hopeful, I decided to explore other options and looked into the designs of Pnina Tornai. When I finally slipped into the gown she created, I knew instantly it was the one. The beautiful details of the delicate Chantilly lace, along with the gown’s unique Basque waist, made it feel both timeless and perfectly suited to me. It also gave me a Tuscan Italian feel, and I knew it was the one! “

The caterer: traditional Italian with a bit of Florentine twist from Calamai Ricevimenti.

Floral journey: A continuous display of blossoms—spanning the ceremony, the villa entry, and the gallery—was artfully woven by Gabrielle and Laura of Stiatto Fiori, whose coordination ensured a cohesive and balanced aesthetic throughout the venue. Team effort: The day’s success owed much to TheKnotInItaly team, with Rossana and Tiziano consistently present and proactive in meeting Gabrielle’s requests, contributing to a seamless guest experience. Visual impact: The overarching floral narrative emphasized refinement and unity, with arrangements designed to complement Villa Corsini’s architecture while guiding guests through key venue moments.

As with every destination wedding in Italy, all’s well that ends well — and the evening closed on a sweet high with a spectacular mille-feuille unveiled before guests. The moment was framed by a dazzling pyrotechnic display, while the glamour continued with a tiered espresso martini pyramid from Pour Events and the romantic ice-cream cart from Appertitosa, ensuring the night ended as magnificently as it began.

Gabrielle chose a scenographic string duo for both the ceremony and the aperitivo, their attire echoing the day’s entire color palette.

Every detail was deftly captured through the lens of Katryn Bradley.
