Modern Romance Meets Timeless Style at the Baltimore Museum of Art

Modern Romance Meets Timeless Style at the Baltimore Museum of Art

The couple chose a classic palette of black and white but added in bold pops of gold, some subtle hints of champagne, and greenery

The overall vibe for the day was modern and romantic, which perfectly complemented the space because the Baltimore Museum of Art is equal parts classic and modern. With a perfect blend of masculine and feminine touches, the event felt welcoming, intimate, and timeless.

Mackenzie looked stunning in an Anne Barge gown! With a classic neckline and subtle pleats, the dress offered beautiful movement and shape. It featured stunning, subtle texture and a unique back that added a touch of whimsy.

The bridesmaids wore a variety of styles of classic black satin, which fit the palette beautifully!

Guests were treated to a lovely, multi-course meal under the glow of the “moondust sculpture” lights at the museum. The couple crafted two signature drinks, an old-fashioned margarita, which was garnished with an additional touch of a custom drink tag.

A really unique blend of soft and bold, Aubrey from Simply Created Events curated a balanced design that appeared equal parts modern and romantic. Textural florals in a palette of white and greenery filled the space and were balanced with sleek ghost chairs, bold black-and-gold chargers, textured champagne linens with flecks of metallics, and beautiful paperie.

The couple opted to cut an elegant, petite cake together and then served a variety of desserts to their guests.

The groom wore a feathered bow tie as a personal nod.

Because they were wed in Baltimore and no longer resided in the city, they incorporated iconic Baltimore scenes into their invitation suite as a tribute to a city that was very special to them and their love story.

Their seating chart fused the concept of subtle romance and modern charm beautifully; the guest names were printed on a large piece of linen that was stretched across a striking metal frame.
