January 28, 2025 / /
A surprising change of events has happened with the AFC Pro-Bowl roster.
Two days after falling in devastating fashion in the AFC Championship game, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has opted out of attending the Pro Bowl this weekend due to a wrist injury.
In his absence, New England rookie Drake Maye has been selected to join the roster in representing the AFC according to NFL insider Ari Meirov.
“Drake Maye is replacing Josh Allen, who opted out of the Pro Bowl,” Meirov said on X.
He will join Commanders rookie Jayden Daniels as another rookie quarterback participating in the all-star events in Orlando, Florida.
