Rose Garden Wedding in Carmel at Bernardus Lodge & Spa

Soft pastels, such as Taupe, Dusty Rose, Sage Greens, and Peaches were the colors in our pallet we used to play up the natural landscape of such a beautiful space like Bernardus Spa & Lodge. These colors complemented the natural surroundings of the venue.

Our vibe was a Modern Garden Wedding, which combined the natural beauty and serenity of a garden with sleek, contemporary design elements. It’s a fusion of organic and sophisticated aesthetics that felt fresh, yet timeless.

Bride’s ethereal wedding gown created by Mira Zwillinger was a statement piece which set the fashion tone for the evening. The flower gardens of Bernardus Lodge complemented perfectly its lace floral details.

We served refreshing cocktails along with a formally plated dinner that was fresh, seasonal, and elegant while embracing the outdoor atmosphere. Focusing on as many local ingredients as possible, for the farm-to-table feel.

We chose to mix long, minimalist tables with the more traditional round tables. White BBJ La Tavola linens were a great pairing with the natural wood chairs for a more earthy, contemporary feel.

We went for a more minimalist cake with smooth icing and a geometric design to complement the modern garden theme

For our Getaway car, we used the Father of the Brides Vintage classic car. This detail added elegance, charm, and a touch of nostalgia to their day.
