Sophie Turner Brings Louis Vuitton’s Legacy Boots to the 2026 Newport Beach Film Festival in London

It’s been nearly a decade since Sophie Turner was appointed a Louis Vuitton ambassador. Since 2017, the “Game of Thrones” alum has worked closely with the fashion house’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière, on a string of custom red carpet fashion moments. The duo linked up once again on Thursday night for the 2026 Newport Beach Film Festival in London, where Turner arrived in a Ghesquière-designed two-piece outfit, finished with the brand’s Legacy boots.
Priced at $1,940, the knee-high shoes are crafted from smooth calf leather and set on a 3.3-inch heel. Per the product description, the boots nod to Louis Vuitton’s storied travel heritage, complete with a signature detail: a monogram canvas strap in the shape of a trunk handle. Metal studs added a hint of edge to the otherwise sleek silhouette. The style is also available in an ankle-height version and a range of hues, including chocolate brown and deep maroon.

For her red carpet look, Ghesquière created a two-piece leather jacket and skirt inspired by Look 34 in Louis Vuitton’s resort 2026 collection. The sage green jacket was tailored with a close fit and high neckline, finished with a delicate lace trim along the collar, zipper, hem and sleeves. Her leg-baring skirt was rendered in a darker green shade, boasting the same lace trim and a subtle slit in the front. A natural blond, Turner debuted a rich brunette shade with auburn highlights last night. Makeup-wise, the actress went with a subtle look consisting of bronzy shadow, rosy cheeks and a pink lip.

At the 2026 Newport Beach Film Festival, Turner was honored with the Artist of Distinction Award, recognized alongside Sam Claflin, Jack O’Connell, Shirley Henderson and Timothy Spall. Other A-list attendees included Paul Mescal, Damson Idris and Archie Madekwe.
